Responsibilities
- Assess patient health needs and develop appropriate care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, ensuring strict adherence to safety protocols.
- Monitor patient progress and respond promptly to any changes in condition.
- Document patient information accurately and timely in electronic health records (EHR).
- Provide education and support to patients and families regarding medical conditions and treatment plans.
- Collaborate with physicians, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic care.
- Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Missouri.
- Graduation from an accredited nursing school (Associate Degree in Nursing or Bachelor of Science in Nursing).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; ACLS preferred for remote roles.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Computer proficiency with electronic medical record systems.
