Responsibilities
- Assess patient health status by gathering physical, psychological, and social data.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and nursing protocols.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans to meet changing needs.
- Document all patient care activities, observations, and interventions accurately in electronic health records.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare team members to develop patient care plans.
- Provide patient and family education regarding diagnosis, treatment plans, and home care instructions.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized clinical environment.
Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Nevada.
- Graduation from an accredited Nursing Program (ASN, BSN, or MSN).
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a high-paced team environment.
- Compassionate demeanor with a commitment to patient-centered care.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and procedures.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, and lift equipment as needed.
