Responsibilities
- Assess the physical and psychological needs of patients and implement appropriate nursing interventions.
- Monitor patient health status by performing physical examinations and recording medical data.
- Administer medications, treatments, and therapies as prescribed by physicians.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Educate patients and their families on post-discharge care and disease prevention.
- Document patient care services using electronic health record (EHR) systems accurately and timely.
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing (ADN or BSN).
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse license in the State of Florida.
- CPR/BLS Certification from the American Heart Association.
- ACLS Certification preferred for new hires (training provided).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
