Responsibilities
- Monitor patient vital signs and report significant changes to the healthcare team immediately.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Document patient care activities, medical history, and treatment plans accurately and timely.
- Assist patients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and mobility support.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to develop patient care plans.
- Respond to patient emergencies and assist in code blue situations as trained.
- Maintain a clean and safe patient environment in accordance with infection control standards.
Qualifications
- Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Wisconsin.
- Graduation from an accredited Nursing Program (Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)).
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with patients, families, and staff.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced healthcare setting.
- Compassionate demeanor with a strong commitment to patient advocacy.
