Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and monitor vital signs to ensure safety and well-being.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, adhering strictly to hospital protocols.
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Maintain accurate, detailed patient records in electronic health systems (EHR).
- Provide patient education and discharge planning to empower families and promote recovery.
- Respond effectively to medical emergencies and assist during critical care situations.
- Uphold the highest standards of infection control and patient privacy.
Qualifications
- Current, valid RN license in the state of Pennsylvania.
- Graduation from an accredited Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred (or willingness to obtain).
- Strong critical thinking skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
