Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, monitoring vital signs and health status closely.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Document patient medical records accurately, thoroughly, and in a timely manner.
- Educate patients and their families on post-discharge care, medications, and wellness strategies.
- Respond swiftly to medical emergencies and critical situations within the unit.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment.
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by the State of Nebraska (NE).
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree).
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on patient-centered care.
- Demonstrated ability to work well under pressure and in a team-oriented setting.
