Responsibilities
- Provide direct, compassionate patient care and assessment of patient health status.
- Administer medications and treatments according to established nursing protocols and physician orders.
- Monitor patient vital signs and report significant changes to the healthcare team immediately.
- Document patient care plans, outcomes, and interventions accurately in the Electronic Health Record (EHR).
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Educate patients and their families on disease prevention, health maintenance, and post-discharge care instructions.
Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina.
- Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing with an Associate's or Bachelor's degree.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on patient-centered care.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume healthcare environment.
- Commitment to professional growth and adherence to hospital policies and standards.
