Responsibilities
- Assess patient health needs, develop, and implement comprehensive nursing care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols and physician orders.
- Document patient care activities, vital signs, and progress notes accurately and timely.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare team members to ensure coordinated patient care.
- Educate patients and their families regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, and post-discharge care.
- Monitor patient conditions and recognize changes in status to intervene appropriately.
Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Oregon.
- Recent nursing graduate (within the last 12 months) or eligible for the New Grad Program.
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- Strong communication skills and a commitment to patient-centered care.
