Responsibilities
- Provide direct, compassionate patient care under the supervision of experienced clinical staff.
- Monitor and record patient vital signs, symptoms, and medical histories accurately.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians and licensed practitioners.
- Assist physicians during examinations, procedures, and treatments.
- Document patient care activities and changes in condition in Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Provide patient education and emotional support to families during their stay.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of New York.
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program (BSN preferred, ADN accepted for entry-level candidates).
- CPR/BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from the American Heart Association.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with patients, families, and medical staff.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities.
- Compassionate demeanor with a strong commitment to patient advocacy and safety.
