Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans under the guidance of senior nursing staff.
- Administer medications and treatments accurately while monitoring patient responses for any adverse effects.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient records, vital signs, and care interventions.
- Respond promptly to patient emergencies and alarms, ensuring a safe environment for all.
- Provide compassionate emotional support and education to patients and their families regarding health conditions and treatment options.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Ohio.
- Graduation from an accredited Nursing Program (Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred).
- CPR/BLS (Basic Life Support) certification upon hire.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a fast-paced team environment.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new medical technologies and protocols.
