Responsibilities
- Assess patient health status through physical examinations and medical history reviews.
- Administer medications and treatments in strict accordance with established protocols.
- Monitor patients' conditions and record vital signs and medical information accurately.
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to develop patient care plans.
- Provide patient education and emotional support to patients and their families.
- Document patient care services in medical records and electronic health systems.
- Respond to medical emergencies and assist with medical procedures as directed.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program.
- Current, unencumbered Oregon Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; ACLS preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Compassionate, patient-centered approach to healthcare.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume medical environment.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and procedures.
