Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality direct patient care in acute/critical care settings
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond to emergency situations
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for coordinated care
- Maintain accurate electronic health records
- Provide patient/family education on health conditions
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives
- Ensure strict adherence to infection control protocols
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Texas (RN)
- BSN or associate degree with 2+ years clinical experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Experience in telemetry, ICU, or ER preferred
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Ability to work independently during weekend shifts
- Flexibility to cover occasional weekday rotations
