Your Role:
You will provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a fast-paced medical environment. You will work closely with the healthcare team to ensure patient safety and satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with hospital protocols and state regulations.
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes in condition immediately to the RN or Provider.
- Document patient care accurately and timely in the electronic health record (EHR).
- Provide patient and family education regarding diagnoses, medications, and discharge instructions.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment.
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing (ASN or BSN preferred).
- Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Texas.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required at time of hire.
- NRPG (Nursyn) or similar proficiency preferred for new graduates.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team setting.
- Compassionate demeanor and commitment to patient-centered care.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull equipment and patients as needed.
