Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and monitor health status via telehealth platforms.
- Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols and physician orders.
- Document patient care activities, vital signs, and treatment plans accurately in electronic health records (EHR).
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams to develop and adjust patient care plans.
- Provide patient and family education regarding health conditions, medication side effects, and home care instructions.
- Respond to patient inquiries and escalations promptly to ensure patient satisfaction and safety.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations.
Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina.
- Graduation from an accredited Nursing program (Associate Degree in Nursing or Bachelor of Science in Nursing).
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required.
- Strong computer skills and proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR/EHR) systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment while maintaining professional boundaries.
