Responsibilities
- Monitor patient health and progress by performing physical examinations and recording medical history.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Educate patients and their families on post-discharge care and disease prevention.
- Document patient care services, including vital signs, procedures, and patient responses.
- Respond to emergency situations and provide immediate care when necessary.
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited Nursing Program (ADN or BSN).
- Current, unencumbered Texas RN License.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Passion for patient advocacy and evidence-based practice.
