Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional patient care during night shifts, including assessment, medication administration, and treatment coordination
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Monitor patient vitals and respond to emergent situations with calm professionalism
- Maintain accurate electronic health records while ensuring HIPAA compliance
- Provide patient education and discharge planning support
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuous learning opportunities
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Maryland (compact license holders encouraged)
- BSN or higher degree preferred (ADN candidates with 2+ years experience considered)
- Minimum 1 year acute care nursing experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Proven ability to work independently in high-pressure night shift environments
- Strong critical thinking and emergency response skills
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities
