Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional patient care across diverse clinical settings including critical care, emergency, and general medicine units
- Administer medications, perform diagnostic procedures, and maintain accurate electronic health records
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Mentor junior nursing staff and participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
- Adhere to HIPAA compliance protocols and maintain strict patient confidentiality standards
- Utilize telehealth technologies to provide remote patient consultations when required
Qualifications
- Active California RN license with BLS certification
- Minimum 2 years of acute care experience in a hospital setting
- Proficiency in Epic EMR systems and point-of-care documentation
- Strong critical thinking skills with ability to adapt to rapidly changing clinical scenarios
- Excellent interpersonal skills with demonstrated cultural competency
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- BSN degree preferred or equivalent experience
