Responsibilities
- Assess patients' health status by performing physical exams and reviewing medical histories.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and report any significant changes to the healthcare team immediately.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, and therapists to develop individualized care plans.
- Educate patients and their families on disease prevention, health maintenance, and post-care instructions.
- Document patient care services accurately and timely in electronic health records (EHR).
- Respond to emergencies and provide critical care support during high-volume periods.
Qualifications
- Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Texas.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience preferred (new grads welcome with training).
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with patients, families, and staff.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care with a strong ethical foundation.
