Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care across diverse clinical settings using evidence-based practices
- Administer medications, treatments, and specialized interventions as prescribed
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in electronic health records
- Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and hospital policies
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives and patient safety protocols
- Provide mentorship to nursing staff and students during clinical rotations
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Louisiana (or compact state eligibility)
- BSN degree required; MSN preferred for advanced roles
- Minimum 2 years of acute care nursing experience
- ACLS/BLS certifications; additional specialty certifications encouraged
- Strong critical thinking skills and ability to adapt in fast-paced environments
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Proficiency with electronic health record systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner)
- Commitment to flexible scheduling including nights, weekends, and holidays
