Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive patient assessment, treatment planning, and care coordination
- Administer medications and therapeutic interventions per physician orders
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Document clinical observations and care delivery in electronic health records
- Educate patients and families on health management and discharge planning
- Adhere to infection control protocols and regulatory standards
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuous learning
Qualifications
- Active Pennsylvania RN license (or compact license)
- BSN degree required (MSN preferred)
- 2+ years acute care experience in relevant specialty
- BLS and ACLS certifications (PALS preferred)
- Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt to flexible shift schedules (days/nights/weekends)
- Proficiency with electronic health record systems
