Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional patient care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing interventions.
- Monitor and record vital signs, symptoms, and patient reactions to medications and treatments.
- Administer prescribed medications, treatments, and procedures in accordance with established protocols.
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary team members to develop and implement comprehensive care plans.
- Document patient health information accurately and thoroughly in electronic medical records (EMR).
- Provide education and support to patients and families regarding health conditions and treatment plans.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized nursing environment.
Qualifications
- Current and unencumbered Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Illinois or New York.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications are required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or healthcare setting preferred.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to adapt to changing environments and handle high-pressure situations with composure.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
