Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in accordance with nursing standards and facility protocols
- Administer medications, treatments, and vaccinations accurately
- Monitor patient vital signs and document electronic health records (EHR)
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop patient care plans
- Educate patients and families on health conditions and preventive care
- Maintain a safe, sterile environment and adhere to infection control procedures
- Respond promptly to patient needs and emergency situations
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Nebraska (or willingness to obtain immediately)
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Graduation from accredited nursing program within the last 2 years
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required (will provide training if needed)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt to flexible schedules and rotating shifts
