Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans based on nursing standards.
- Administer medications and treatments in strict accordance with physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Monitor patient vital signs and clinical status, responding immediately to any changes or emergencies.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, therapists, and the interdisciplinary care team to optimize patient outcomes.
- Maintain accurate, detailed, and timely documentation in electronic health records (EHR).
- Provide patient and family education to ensure understanding of treatment plans and discharge instructions.
- Uphold hospital policies, procedures, and safety regulations at all times.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered RN license to practice in Minnesota.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience preferred (new grads welcome with appropriate certification).
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills under pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care.
