Responsibilities

- Communication: Collaborate effectively with doctors, therapists, and the wider healthcare team to develop comprehensive care plans.
- Education: Educate patients and their families on disease prevention, health management, and post-discharge care.
- Emergency Response: Respond promptly and professionally to medical emergencies and urgent situations.
- Documentation: Maintain strict adherence to electronic health records (EHR) and regulatory compliance standards.
- Shift Coverage: Adapt quickly to various nursing units, providing high-quality care during peak hours and flexible scheduling.
Qualifications
- Education: Completion of an accredited Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
- Licensure: Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license in the State of Illinois.
- Experience: No prior experience required; we welcome recent graduates and career changers.
- Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) preferred (certification courses available).
- Skills: Strong critical thinking, decision-making abilities, and attention to detail.
