Responsibilities
- Assess patient health needs, develop, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments according to established medical protocols and physician orders.
- Monitor patient vital signs and report significant changes or adverse reactions to the healthcare team promptly.
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes and safety.
- Provide patient education and emotional support to patients and their families.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation.
- Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
Qualifications
- Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Massachusetts.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or clinical setting preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-centered approach.
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends, holidays, and night shifts.
- Proficiency in electronic health record systems (EHR) and computer literacy.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
