Responsibilities
- Assess patient health status by performing physical exams and reviewing medical histories.
- Develop and implement patient care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans according to clinical needs.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members.
- Document all patient care activities, observations, and interventions accurately.
- Respond to emergencies and provide critical care when necessary.
Qualifications
- Current and valid California RN License (or eligibility to obtain).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of nursing experience preferred (New grads welcome for specific units).
- BLS and ACLS certifications required (or willingness to obtain).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends.
- Proficiency in Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.
