Responsibilities
- Assess patient health problems and needs, developing and implementing comprehensive nursing care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians and licensed healthcare providers.
- Monitor patient vital signs and response to treatment, documenting all changes accurately in the EHR.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Provide education and emotional support to patients and families regarding health conditions and care plans.
- Perform clinical procedures and adhere strictly to all hospital protocols and safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered RN license in the State of Missouri required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience preferred.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills in high-pressure environments.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and remote options.
- Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner).
