Responsibilities
- Deliver patient-centered care in acute care settings with precision and empathy
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions per physician orders
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
- Document patient assessments and progress using electronic health records (EHR)
- Monitor vital signs and respond to emergency situations with critical thinking
- Provide patient/family education on health conditions and discharge planning
- Maintain compliance with JCAHO, OSHA, and facility-specific protocols
Qualifications
- Active California RN license (or compact license for Texas roles)
- Associates or Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN preferred)
- Minimum 2 years of acute care experience (ICU/ER preferred)
- ACLS/BLS certification with willingness to obtain additional certifications
- Strong proficiency in EHR systems (Epic/Cerner experience a plus)
- Exceptional communication and critical thinking skills
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts including weekends and holidays
- Passion for patient advocacy and evidence-based practice
