Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care in accordance with nursing standards and facility protocols
- Administer medications, treatments, and immunizations with precision
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Document patient assessments and progress in electronic health records (EHR)
- Provide education to patients and families about health conditions and self-care
- Respond to emergency situations with calm professionalism and critical thinking
- Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA and OSHA regulations
Qualifications
- Active RN license in the state of Louisiana
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing (ADN or BSN)
- Minimum 1 year of clinical nursing experience (new grads welcome)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
- Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) systems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Flexibility to work varied shifts including nights and weekends
