Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional patient care in diverse clinical settings including hospitals, clinics, and specialty units
- Administer medications, treatments, and procedures per physician orders
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Document clinical observations and patient progress accurately in electronic health records
- Provide patient and family education on health conditions and treatment protocols
- Maintain strict compliance with HIPAA, OSHA, and facility-specific safety protocols
- Participate in emergency response and critical care interventions as needed
Qualifications
- Active California RN license in good standing
- Minimum 2 years of acute care experience in relevant specialty
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Proficiency with EHR systems (Epic, Cerner, or similar)
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Flexibility to work 8, 12, or 16-hour shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Successful background check and drug screening
