Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality patient care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient needs in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and established hospital protocols, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
- Document patient information accurately and in a timely manner within electronic health record systems (EHR) to maintain clear communication channels.
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary staff to develop and implement individualized care plans tailored to patient needs.
- Monitor patient vital signs and response to treatment, promptly escalating any changes or concerns to the charge nurse or physician.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and therapeutic environment for patients, adhering to all infection control and safety regulations.
- Educate patients and their families regarding diagnosis, treatment plans, and post-discharge care instructions.
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in California (or willing to obtain).
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required or obtained within 30 days of hire.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or acute care setting preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and medical staff.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as part of our full-time commitment.
- Proficiency in electronic medical records and computer systems.
