Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive, patient-centered care according to established medical standards and protocols.
- Administer medications and treatments while strictly adhering to safety regulations and dosage guidelines.
- Monitor patient vitals, symptoms, and progress, promptly reporting any changes to the healthcare team.
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in electronic health records (EHR).
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment to prevent infection and ensure patient comfort.
- Provide patient and family education regarding diagnoses, treatments, and self-care management.
Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of California.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or medical facility setting preferred.
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills under pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
