Responsibilities
- Assess patient health problems and needs, and develop and implement comprehensive care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, adhering to strict safety protocols.
- Monitor vital signs and clinical status, identifying potential complications and intervening promptly.
- Document patient care activities, including assessments, interventions, and responses to treatment.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure holistic patient management.
- Educate patients and their families on disease prevention, health maintenance, and home care instructions.
Qualifications
- Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Florida.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience preferred.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Strong critical thinking, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for patient and family engagement.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume healthcare environment.
