Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional patient assessment, monitoring, and intervention in acute care settings
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Administer medications and treatments with precision while maintaining documentation standards
- Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatment protocols, and preventive care
- Maintain sterile environments and adhere to infection control protocols
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and evidence-based practice projects
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Illinois (or compact state)
- BSN degree required; MSN preferred
- 2+ years acute care experience with ICU/ER background
- BLS and ACLS certifications required; TNCC/PALS preferred
- Strong critical thinking and emergency response capabilities
- Proficiency in Epic EMR system
- Excellent communication skills with diverse patient populations
