Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care utilizing evidence-based nursing practices and clinical judgment
- Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions using EMR systems
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders with precision
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
- Educate patients and families on health management and discharge planning
- Maintain strict adherence to HIPAA compliance and hospital protocols
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and patient safety programs
Qualifications
- Valid California RN license (active and unrestricted)
- BSN degree required; MSN preferred
- Minimum 2 years of acute care nursing experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications (required at hire)
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and patient advocacy abilities
- Experience with Epic EMR system preferred
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts including weekends and holidays
