Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive patient assessment, planning, and intervention in accordance with established protocols
- Administer medications and treatments with precise attention to safety protocols
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team to develop individualized patient care plans
- Document patient progress accurately and maintain electronic health records
- Provide patient and family education regarding health conditions and treatment procedures
- Maintain sterile techniques and infection control standards
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and patient safety programs
Qualifications
- Active California RN license (BRN) required
- BSN degree preferred; ADN candidates with relevant experience considered
- Minimum 2 years acute care nursing experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Strong critical thinking and emergency response abilities
- Proficiency in electronic health record systems (EPIC preferred)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
