Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with healthcare protocols.
- Monitor patient vital signs and report significant changes to the attending physician.
- Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records using EHR systems.
Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered RN License in Illinois (or ability to obtain Texas licensure).
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience preferred.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS certifications.
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume medical setting.
