Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including bathing, dressing, and assisting with mobility.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse.
- Assist nurses with patient treatments and procedures as directed.
- Document patient care activities and changes in condition accurately in electronic health records.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- Ensure a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for patients.
- Transport patients to and from treatment areas as needed.
Qualifications
- Current and active Virginia Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license.
- CPR certification (BLS) required.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Previous experience in a hospital or clinical setting preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift patients as required.
