Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized, evidence-based care plans.
- Monitor patient health status, including vital signs and symptom changes, reporting deviations immediately to the healthcare team.
- Administer medications and treatments accurately according to established protocols and physician orders.
- Document patient care activities, assessments, and responses to treatment in the electronic health record (EHR) promptly and accurately.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurse practitioners, and interdisciplinary staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Provide clear education to patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, and discharge instructions.
Qualifications
- Current, valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of California.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or acute care setting preferred.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and time management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
