Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with established protocols and state regulations.
- Monitor patient vital signs and clinical status, escalating concerns immediately to the charge nurse or provider.
- Provide direct patient care, including wound care, hygiene assistance, and emotional support.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient interactions, assessments, and interventions using electronic health records.
- Educate patients and families on disease management, medication compliance, and post-discharge care instructions.
Qualifications
- Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Florida.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of acute care nursing experience preferred.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred; Associate degree in Nursing (ADN) accepted with relevant experience.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) required.
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaborative patient care.
