Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized nursing care plans based on clinical needs and physician orders.
- Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols and hospital standards, ensuring patient safety and well-being.
- Monitor patient vital signs and clinical status closely, intervening immediately in emergency situations to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, therapists, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team to coordinate seamless patient care.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient medical records in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Provide compassionate patient and family education regarding treatment plans, medications, and health maintenance.
- Ensure a clean, safe, and therapeutic environment for all patients and visitors.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license to practice in the State of Oklahoma.
- Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing (Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred).
- CPR/BLS certification (American Heart Association) required; ACLS/PALS certification preferred based on unit specialty.
- Strong critical thinking skills and the ability to make sound clinical judgments in fast-paced environments.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
- Proven track record of providing high-quality patient-centered care.
