Responsibilities
- Conduct Patient Assessments: Perform comprehensive health evaluations and monitor patient vitals to ensure optimal care.
- Administer Medication: Safely dispense prescribed medications and treatments while adhering to strict safety protocols.
- Collaborate with Healthcare Teams: Work closely with physicians, therapists, and staff to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Document Patient Records: Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records using electronic health systems (EHR).
- Provide Patient Education: Educate patients and families about treatment plans, medications, and wellness strategies.
- Respond to Emergencies: React swiftly and effectively during medical emergencies to ensure patient safety.
Qualifications
- Valid RN License: Active Registered Nurse license in the State of California.
- BLS Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- ACLS Certification: Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or healthcare setting.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods and lift patients as needed.
- Computer Proficiency: Comfortable navigating electronic health records systems.
