Responsibilities
- Patient Assessment & Monitoring: Conduct thorough patient assessments, monitor vital signs, and document changes in health status with precision.
- Medication Administration: Safely administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Collaborative Care Planning: Work closely with physicians, therapists, and the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement effective care plans.
- Crisis Management: Respond quickly and effectively to medical emergencies and critical situations within the unit.
- Patient Education: Educate patients and their families about diagnoses, treatment plans, and self-care strategies.
- Regulatory Compliance: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with all legal and hospital policies.
Qualifications
- Licensure: Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Oklahoma.
- Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred; Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required.
- Certifications: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a hospital setting preferred.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a focus on empathy.
- Professionalism: Strong critical thinking skills and a commitment to patient safety and quality care.
