Responsibilities
- Conduct Comprehensive Assessments: Perform detailed patient evaluations to develop and implement individualized nursing care plans tailored to patient needs.
- Administer Care: Provide direct patient care, including medication administration, wound care, and treatment procedures, strictly adhering to safety protocols.
- Monitor Vital Signs: Continuously monitor patient health status and promptly respond to any changes in condition or medical emergencies.
- Collaborative Care: Work closely with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic patient treatment.
- Patient Education: Educate patients and their families on disease management, health maintenance, and post-discharge care instructions.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records using electronic health records (EHR) systems.
Qualifications
- Licensure: Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
- Education: Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Certifications: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications are mandatory.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a hospital or acute care setting preferred.
- Skills: Strong critical thinking, decision-making, and excellent communication skills.
