Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments while strictly adhering to safety protocols and physician orders.
- Monitor patient vital signs and response to treatments, documenting changes accurately.
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and the wider healthcare team to optimize patient outcomes.
- Provide patient education and emotional support to patients and their families.
- Respond immediately to medical emergencies and assist in code situations as needed.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment.
Qualifications
- Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Florida.
- Certification in BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) required.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a hospital setting preferred.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
