Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop individualized care plans in accordance with evidence-based practices.
- Administer medications and treatments accurately while monitoring for adverse reactions.
- Educate patients and families on disease management, discharge instructions, and health promotion.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintain precise documentation in electronic health records (EHR) systems.
- Respond promptly to patient needs and emergencies within the unit.
Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina.
- BLS and ACLS certifications required (or must obtain within 90 days).
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience preferred.
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume healthcare environment.
