Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans tailored to each patient's needs.
- Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols and physician orders.
- Monitor patient progress and response to treatments, documenting all observations accurately in electronic health records (EHR).
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, therapists, and other members of the healthcare team to ensure coordinated care.
- Educate patients and their families on disease prevention, health management, and post-discharge care instructions.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment, adhering to all infection control and safety regulations.
- Respond to emergency situations promptly and calmly, utilizing critical thinking skills to ensure patient safety.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Florida.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred; Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) accepted.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently in a high-volume setting.
