Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care and assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, and temperature, reporting any abnormalities to the nursing staff.
- Assist with patient mobility, transfers, and positioning to ensure safety and prevent falls.
- Document patient care plans, symptoms, and progress accurately in electronic health records.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitized environment for patients and visitors.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
Qualifications
- Current and valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license in the State of Colorado.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (American Heart Association preferred).
- Previous experience in a long-term care, acute care, or home health setting is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
