Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Monitor and record patient vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rates.
- Assist patients with mobility, transfers, and positioning to ensure safety and prevent falls.
- Administer medication and treatments as directed by licensed nursing staff.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to update care plans.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment.
Qualifications
- Current and valid California CNA License.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift patients as needed.
- Compassionate, patient, and detail-oriented demeanor.
