Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, compassionate patient care in accordance with hospital protocols and standards.
- Assess patient health problems and needs, developing and implementing appropriate nursing care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians and licensed practitioners.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and report any significant changes to the nursing supervisor or physician immediately.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure holistic patient recovery and comfort.
- Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation in electronic health records.
- Educate patients and families on post-discharge care and health maintenance.
Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Nevada required.
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a hospital setting preferred.
- Strong critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
